so are you guys with larger cubes having closed loop set ups or how do you get water flow near the front of the tank. i was looking into a 48x48x24 cube down the rd and just wondered what most are using for water movement

Here's my 1/2 half cube 24X24X12 ,recently set up from other tanks and still working on the aquascaping.

biecka- I had a 30x30 and used a closed loop with an ocean's motions 4-way. It gave me great water movement to all 4 corners of the tank. I had to sell the tank when I moved, but I believe I may still have the OM around somewhere if you are interested.
