Show me Your Fancy STANDS!!!

Very nice PMG. Do you have pics of your stand? Did you already post them in this thread somewhere? This thread is one of my favorites.

this combo is absolute awesome!!!

This is a nice stand I finished up over the long weekend for a local club member.

Here are a few shots of my 150G stand. I didn't put a whole lot of detail into this stand because I'm just as guilty as others when it comes to setting up a new system, and wanting to get water into it as fast as possible.

I've been thinking lately about changing my doors to a different style to add more detail, and just to make a change of scenery.

HAHAHA! My 240 gallon I just picked up last week...Isn't she a beauty! First attempt at anything woodworking related. It would've been a MUCH easier project with the right tools.

Nice stand but I don't see what you have in place to prevent racking. Maybe I just don't see it.

Daimyo68, I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by your woodwork or the fact that you have the Farrah poster framed on your wall! Nice work.

is the back left uncovered? If so I'd have to agree about racking. That much weight on top without something to prevent wrack is an invitation to disaster. Something as simple as 1/2" or 3/4" plywood covering the back, attached at edges, would do a world of good to prevent it.

You must be a little older than me, I was impressed by the flashbacks that the Heather Thomas and Cathy Smith posters caused. It kept me looking for the Christi Brinkley one I had hanging next to them. :D

Basically it means to be pushed out of square so the sides are no longer perpendicular to the floor.
