Lol, I don't mind at all being called either crazy or a master carpenter but I'm not crazy enough to think I AM actually a master carpenter!
I have however had the privilege to work alongside some serious master carpenters in the past and did my best to absorb all I could.
Crown is actually pretty simple when you learn the tricks, but it did almost make me cry my first time.
Words of wisdom given to me that day, "I am pretty sure you are smarter than that piece of wood, don't let it best you!"

Here is mine. It is certainly not fancy but considering I have no real tools and had to have a friend cut the skin using a table saw, I threw it together ok IMO . Currently working on a floating canopy to match

. Its a work in progress. But there is prob 30 lbs of rock right in the center with mangrove plants growing from the top of it. The tank has a Large tank 4 chromis and a Bi color angel fish in there. OHH And a common cleaner wrasse . The Tang Loves to swim in circles and to sit next to me and People watch..

Sometime when i think its presentable i will post more info about it.

Tonight I need to steel wool the top and use swirl remover and a wax on it.

May not be to the level that some of these are, but I think it turned out well... 9" shelf all the way round the tank, which stands out away from the wall. Had my daughter do the mosaic tile work... she did a fine job, IMHO.
