I recently got a frag of this from RC member RTBM and it had really taken a liking to my tank. I got a 1" frag that is encrusting and coloring up nice under T5's. Besides the Pearlberry and Red Planet, this is easily one of the nicest ORA corals out there, and a definite must have for SPS fanatics.

seems like half of this thread got hooked up on this coral by rtbm.

Heres another piece of Adams german green I picked up last year to replace the one I lost. lol

kind of OT...kind of not. My yellow torts polyps are starting to turn blue. Just noticed it the other day when I moved it. They are darker blue at the base and hopefully it will continue. never heard of a blue polyped yellow tort before

When I got mine it was green with bright blue polyps. When I moved the gbpa retracted it's polyps and turned pale. After a few months it got the green color back. The polyps have reappeared but are now white. Will the blue come back?

Thanks,4 years or so and it has given up many frags to provide space for other corals through the years. Its in the regrowing phase(2.5 to 3 ") now and at its biggest it was about baseball size or a little larger.Kinda slow I guess compared to other stags

Still chugging along, solid growth...okay color.

Seems like if I even look at this coral wrong it browns out a bit.

Another thread revival attempt! Here's a quick iPhone pic that I thought came out decent enough. Hooray for the GBP!

Ill take 3 please! ;)

To the top. Lest see them now. It has been some time since I've posted here. Long story short I lost most of my colony two years ago. I was left with a 1/2" frag. It is growing but it's no where near the size and color my old colony was. I've recently added another frag from Blakers82. I'm thinking I out combining them into one colony.

Here is mine. Have had it several years. I find it hardy and easy to keep but very sensitive to alkalinity and calcium swings. Easy to keep but hard to keep colored up all the time.

yup!! This coral is hardy as they come, almost impossible to kill. However, it is a PITA to keep well colored for the reasons previously mentioned.

Does anybody has a frag of the GBP Acro for sale? Please let me know. Thanks
