Show me your German Blue Polyp Acropora!

I actually killed mine in my move from TN to IL... I finally reaquired a frag a couple of months ago... Came in all brown and nasty looking from being shipped on 100degree+ day... Finally starting to color back up and look decent for me though... Can't wait for it to be the size of my original colony, but figure that will take at least 2 years or so...

The GBP was on my list since the day I lost it... :)

Let's see them. If you can really try to get some nice shots to show case this stellar acropora.

Update. This cony is about 8 months old from two frags.

I plan on growing this coral out and then selling frags. I would live to get this coral out in more reefs. As of now its very hard to find.

I'll have to snap some pics of my frag this weekend... It fully recovered, but is growing painfully slow..... At least it has regained its color and encrusted a bit...

I don't know if its me but it looks like there are two different acropora's here, in any case it's an amazing sps and wish I could get a frag,

Been doing battle with the two millies, I need to do some rearranging....

That is probably the most unique and coolest looking growth pattern I have ever seen on the GBP. I like it!

I had a coral that everybody swore was a tenuis long ago that grew like a deepwater in my tank. Kind of similar to what yours is doing. In everyone else's tank it looked like a tenuis. In mine it was this amazing blue thinbrancher.

Hey thanks. I think it's because of the flow it's getting/ not getting. For a long time my red planet, and 2 millies have gobbled up a good chunk of the flow, and I think that accounts for the thinner branches. I'm doing some rearranging/ making some changes in my tank, so we shall see where it goes from here.
It's definitely got a much greener cast to the color, although that pic was taken under actinics, so that kind of skews the color a bit.

I have declaired June German Blue Polyp Green Acro month. In a couple days, lets see those photographs!
