Anyone has a pic of this?
The stock pic is amazing but does it really look like that 12-14k
I only get yellow like the stock pic with 18-20k light

Here is mine under 10k reeflux with blue and royal led supplement . I think you need to run heavey actinic lighting to get the orange polyps. Not a favorite in my system :worried: just average

Wow, in any system I would give yours a fighting chance to have some orange. LEDs and the reflux are one of my favorite combos to get colors like that. That looks like a standard tenuis to me, not as sexy as 3 bills would feel in my pocket!

Yea, kinda look too photoshop to me too.
So what spectrum does everyone use now?
Reeflover-nice pic of yours under T5?
I use LED and ramp from 20K-18-14-10 then backdown to 20K at sunset.
Whats everyone else doing with LED lighting?

I was kidding that's the excuse ppl give now adays . When something is over photoshopped or "its under a lot of blue"

But In my dt I run close to 14k (with t5's)

nice coral but no match for the true Reef Raft orange passion piece..... Cant believe SC even used the same name.....

There's a rainbow passion now? Is that blue LED with a red flashlight shining on it?

Yep there is a Rainbow Passion aka Walt Disney Acropora now Tim. Cornbread sells it on fleabag and it is lit by LED's and photoshopped over saturated etc etc.

So lets see yours!

I have seen the SC Orange Passion once. The piece I saw was in a SC's frag tank at the Reef Raft USA grand opening and that tank was lit with a lot of blue. LED if I'm not mistaken. In all honesty, It looked exactly like the picture on his website. To this day I have never seen another hobbyist be able to achieve those colors. I can guarantee it would never look like that in white light but looked incredible in the light that it was under.

Here in SoCal a lot of the guys are running extremely blue lighting to bring out those wild colors. Many of the T5 setups I have seen don't even have a single daylight bulb. Most of them are so blue you would never consider running your tank that way. If you run 10K-14K lighting, IMO you should be staying far away from these designer corals. They are not going to look like that in your tank.

I was over at Reef Raft USA the other day and saw some of their corals in the back that were simply mind-blowing. Of course they weren't all that way but there were 5-10 showstoppers. Luckily here in SoCal we get to see before we buy and you all have to buy on blind faith. I recommend that you buy from vendors that have good reviews for selling codas that look like what is advertised.

What baffles me is how people will buy these high dollar corals that have these designer names, yet even in the picture show a coral that should be called the "baby poo acro!"
