My anemone just fissioned into two separate anemones. One of the anemones is shriveled. The fuzzy picture below shows the shriveled anemone in the center with the healthy one on the right with a Maroon Clownfish.
I have no idea what kind of anemone these are. I suspect that these are Bubble Tip Anemones (BTA) although I have never observed "bubbles" at their tips. When fully extended, the stalk of the anemone has a longitudinal "corduroy" texture. The latitudinal lines in the picture appear only when the anemone is shriveled.
Any suggested treatment?
