sick imperator angel

I have a 8" imperator angel that eats like crazy, acts normal, always swimming and never hides but he leans up against my scorpionfish and snowflake eel like he wants to get scratched. hes in 150 gallon tank it started as a line on one side now he has with pieces like splinters sticking out and some cottony pcs

Were all fish previously treated for flukes/parasites? I'm having a tough time making out the pic, but a freshwater bath and a week in nutrifurican green powder might be a good course of treatment. Does it look like an injury or more like a growth?

I believe it was an injury but is there any thing else I can use for flukes parasites in the tank?
