Added these last night and I'm already getting some crazy PE right now, esp the red planet and Oregon tort.

just fed the tank mysis and brine shrimp and the SSC actually caught a shrimp! cray

Temp looks great, but pH swings from 7.9-8.4. Should I be concerned? What should I do?

I haven't been dosing anything yet. Should I start dosing kalkwasser at night?

are you running the fuge light on a opposite schedule?

I run the fuge light from 8pm-12pm. It's not making much of a difference

Mine seem to fluctuate about 0.2 per day. Not sure if fuge is helping or not, but it is on whenever daylight T5 are off, which atm is after 5pm till 12pm.

I wouldn't try to chase after pH though. I'm sure it will get where it needs eventually by itself. Maybe a bit more buffer is needed in the water to slow change some.

Going through some usual GHA issues! I only have 5 snails at the moment and a tailspot blenny to mow down the algae. I just ordered 30 more astrea snails, 10 Mexican turbos, and 10 trochus snails. Also hooking up a GFO reactor and doing a 15gallon water change this weekend. Hopefully, these should help! More pics coming soon.. 15 BC frags arriving in two weeks!

If any of you pick up the LRO Pikachu, this acro likes low to medium light. Mine stays yellow and polyps are getting red. The frags in Living Reef's display with My/T5/LED are turning neon green.
