skunks are hosting but

Well, i came home tonight to my orange skunks in my LTA, the LTA when fully opened is about 3" diameter and tentacles about 3/4" long, but when my female gets in the nem and rubs up against it, it likes to close up a bit, where only she has a spot and the male just swims around, will the nem become used to the constant attention? and open up more? I'm feeding it every other day, a small piece of silverside. Hoping it will grow a bit faster than if i didnt. They just started hosting it tonight, so i'm gonna feed them some mysis and brine and see if they will feed it though. Any info? Sorry in advance for all the noob questions and thanks also!

3" is a bit small, it may get irritated w/ rough love from clowns, sometimes people need to cover them to keep clowns away for a bit till they are big enough to deal with all that attention.
Spot feeding every other day is a bit much IMO, twice a week should be plenty w/ mysis when feeding fish.
If this is your 12g I'd be concerned w/ overfeeding/excessive waste.
Start looking at bigger tanks too, cause they get pretty big.

Already looking at bigger tanks, getting a 30g cube, with sump/skimmer/fuge. The nem is opened fully up, and looks to be loving alllll the clown loving it can get. Fed them mysis and they fed it, so i'm gonna stop feeding it but once a week and see how things go. And when i do feed it, its only an eraser sized piece of silverside. Thanks for the input, I hope to get some pictures soon, my cameras don't have a macro mode, so allll the pictures are blurry I've taken so far.
