Very nice. Lots of white. How old are they?
My onyx just start to have the second stripe (at 8 weeks). while the SnowOnyx start on their third stripe already at 6 weeks.

Not my video but take a look at this:

<iframe width="1280" height="720" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wjAri9uiBwc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I know the tank raised ones are always slow to acclimate. I wonder if something like this during grow-out would help some?

very nice job my friend......how many came out with the white two or three? so they are truly rare.

Thank you! :) i would say out of the 40-50 there, there are probably 10-12 that will be white or snowlfake.. maybe a bit more.. cause on some of the ones u cant see in the pic, it looks like its only a stripe but u can see the gfaint white of a snowflake pattern.. so still waiting to see how it comes out

Awesome job with the fry.

Thank you very much!

My one thing i did wrong was not write down the day these egg's hatched.. :( i was getting fustrated with the first 4 failed batched that i got sloppy on this batch and behold ..it was a successful one.. ha.. but i thinkt hey are just about a week older than yours... Some of them are developing faster than the others... some are developing drastically slower..

Wow that's awesome, beautiful clowns! Byron as in bryon IL? I race my bike at the drag strip quite frequently!

Ask and you shall receive..

i counted roughly 13 ish.. snowonyx's, so yea the normal looking Onyx clowns definantly outnumber the snowonyx's.

i personally think that was the variable behind my first few failure's...

but there are alot of variables that could take into play to fry dieing so early..

make sure you feed the parents LOTS before they lay their eggs..
water quality is also a variable

Just copying these pictures to page 3 so ppl dont gotta scroll back.
