great looking tank. nice and clean. just out of curiosity, are what setting are your kessils set at? are you using the controller?

Thanks! Below are my settings using Kessil Controller.

....I started with 40% intensity but corals closed up for 2 days, thats why I backed down to 30%, then the following morning almost corals opened up. Frogspawn, toadstool, Duncan, Zoanthids, open brain, mostly softies/LPS. Birdsnest, monti and scoly didnt get bothered about the upgrade.

Every week, I increased intensity to 5%. And last week, I decided to give it a 10% increased and everything looks good. I mean, all corals didnt have ill effect from a sudden 10% jump. Maybe I'll add another 10 next weekend and see how they respond.

As for color,. Ive been playing around between 20-40%, but decided to keep it a straight line of 20% all the time. It turns more blue anyways when the intensity ramps down, so its perfect. Speaking of, my light schedule is:

11am - 50
2pm - 80
4pm - 90
8pm - 50
11pm - 0

20% color all across the board.

Thanks! Below are my settings using Kessil Controller.

interesting. thanks for the response. i have a360w over my 24 nanocube, probably 6-7 inches above the water using the gooseneck. my color and intensity ramp up, but intensity stops at 55% and color is at 30% at peak. but your tank at 20% color looks crisper/whiter than mine at 30%. maybe i'll have to fiddle some more with my color setting.

anyways, your tank looks great :D

Thanks.

It looks bluer in person. I just adjusted the white balance for better viewing pleasure in that image :)

Everything is still a little fraggy, but it's a FTS technically! Added a few more because something the size of a quarter can't be made out in a FTS.

They just moved over and are starting to color up a little. A few are in that 'lets turn green for a bit' phase. But it's coming together. Fish are in QT and shall move over in a lil.

Nice tank. I have the same one. How do you like the IM media reactor? Is it quiet? Is it easy to change out the media? Which size is that one?

Thanks!! I was only using it temporarily until my phosban reactor came in. It's too small for the reefer 170. It was great in my IM tank though! lol
