So huge fireworm may not be a fire worm

I think I assumed it was because of the other fire worm but this one is darker, more blue with some pink. Its fat and its very long...and quick as I learned last night trying to catch it with steak tongs. Anyone know how I could better lure it out? Is it just a regular bristle worm?

I found a 3" worm in my tank. asked a few people about it and they said they are good scavangers. the one I found is a pink color with peach-ish bristles. so I left it in. I used a turkey baster and sucked it up. lol

Turkey baster sounds like the way to go. And I don't think its one of those worms in the links but I won't know til I get it out. Which will hopefully be tonight

I don't know what magical turkey baster your using but mine sucks it up and either it spits it back out or the worm slithers out before i can pull it up. I must be doing something wrong.

A pair of tweezers or bristle worm trap are your best bets. If it's not a bristle worm, most traps will not work on other worm species.
