Some head way was made with the tank finished the rock scape came out really cool i think will post pictures once the sand is in. Used 108 lbs of rock. May have the left overs up for sale soon about 42 lbs. Of marco rock

You could always run an algae scrubber instead of a large macro fuge. ie Turbo Ats or Rain2

Soi got the rock work done last week for the 125. I also got the fish q.t. and coral q.t. systems up and running. And i also had time to do some spring cleaning on the pond. Added new filter with u.v.

Thanks charley diesing yes i am running the stock plumbing dursos and it is dead silent. No noise the gate valves are what makes this plumbing.

Why do you have gate valves on the returns? Wouldn't that be restricting flow, causing a siphon? Wouldn't that be the opposite of what a durso is? Couldn't that cause flooding? Please explain... :)

Everything I've read they (you know... people) say that you should never put a gate valve on the return of a durso?

Maybe for maintenance? He's running a vectra so flow is adjustable via the controller

Edit - after looking at the pics I don't see gate valves on the return. I see shut offs, but no gates.

Yes skw is right the ball vavles on the returns are for maintance

Not the returns... I meant to say the ball-valves that are on the drain lines coming down from the overflows...
