Thanks dawsokj yes there is the tank has been up and running for a few weeks cycle should be done by may 20th and i have some goodies in the holding tanks waiting to go in.Looking good bud! I like the scape. Any updates?
Are you running the stock durso plumbing that it came with? How noisy is it?
Nice build though, great plumbing!![]()
Thanks charley diesing yes i am running the stock plumbing dursos and it is dead silent. No noise the gate valves are what makes this plumbing.
Why do you have gate valves on the returns? Wouldn't that be restricting flow, causing a siphon? Wouldn't that be the opposite of what a durso is? Couldn't that cause flooding? Please explain...![]()
Everything I've read they (you know... people) say that you should never put a gate valve on the return of a durso?
Maybe for maintenance? He's running a vectra so flow is adjustable via the controller
Edit - after looking at the pics I don't see gate valves on the return. I see shut offs, but no gates.
Yes skw is right the ball vavles on the returns are for maintance
