SoCal's 60g SPS cube (2x2x2)

The new leopard is out and about and looking good. It is still too early to tell if it will make it long term. I have not been able to get it to eat mysis or cyclopeeze, but it actively hunts for pods during the day. Good thing I have plenty of those. There was some aggression from my Ornate leopard (3''), whom I believe to be a male now. The much smaller female meleagris (1.5'') was being chased throughout the morning, but It started to subside after a few hours. I hope they end up getting along.

Sorry if the pics are not that great. I am still learning how to use my DSLR and I don't shop any of the photos for color balance or anything. I don't have that kind of software. I am thinking that a macro lens would be a nice investment in the near future.

Just came upon your thread and wanted to say very nice build. I have a 37 oceanic cube with a radion that I started in November.

Hey socal! great looking tank! i'm in the process of starting out a 65, so pretty much using the same kind of equipment. I'm about ready to order my skimmer and really wanted the SWC160 but i hear a lot of problems with the pump :(. Hows the SRO1000int working for ya? That was my next choice, plus it has a better pump

I didn't have a good experience with my SWC160. I like my SRO. The pump starts up no problem and as long as the skimmer is sitting in 5inches of water, it works great. The other that I was considering was Vertex IN100.

SocalDude,

Fantastic tank My friend!Absolutely awesome!I will be happy if my tank looks like yours does one day!
