Great pictures! I own a Nikon Coolpix L6 and hate the way it takes aquarium pictures. I have tried many different settings with the color balance but usually end up with blue tinted pictures especially if I am in the macro mode. What are your secretes?

In order to make corals have the correct color you have to set the white balance. I usually find some sand in the tank and set the sand to be white in the picture. Then everything will have the right color in your pics.

Thank you all, no secret, completely stock digital macro setting. This camera rocks for like $200.

Like many other things price does not dictate quality.

Beautiful pictures...makes me want to get my Canon out and try the macro setting some more...Did you use a tripod?

nope, just held the camera right on the glass, zoomed in, and waited for it to focus. I might take a few more with a tripod and compare the two.
