Well, I havent posted any recent pics of Boris lately, and she has been getting incredibly interactive as she gets older... Her Predatory style has gone from a cautious defensive ambush on Gladiator Crayfish, to an All-out Blitzkrieg of Offensive Attack when the green net enters the tank! In fact yesterday she cracked a big cray through the net before even seeing it hit the ground... needless to say I was startled!
She has also been doing some redecorating so has been quite active...she molted within the past month or so, so Im not sure what all of the activity is about, but it is very entertaining...
Here is her "new" color, she has been molting to this greenish color which is nice b/c she was primarily an olive to orange color for about a year when i first got her
Here is that cray being pulleyed up by the Bubbletip brittle after Boris had to take a cigarette break between courses
Ive got my eye on you...probably hoping im about to drop in a little redclaw crab or something
Boris and her sweet roommate...I still havent named this guy despite being my favorite fish! (she always takes cheap shots on Boris's victims!-like kickin them while there down!!)
Dr Roy, is this some pre-indication of shell disease?? She is getting older, and I have had her for almost 2 years, she is about 6", eats well, primarily garlic scallops and krill, and has a nice decently dark shaded burrow (outgrew the pvc tube), but have 130W of PC above....
