Sonicboom's 180 build in Tampa

WOW... My ATS has made my cheato go just the opposite. :(

But I am happy it is exporting all the nutrients instead of growing INSIDE THE TANK...

initially i had been turning off the skimmer over night, but the way it's growing it's back on, it can fight with the skimmer for nutrients.

Need Id on this fast, wrasse or clown eggs? found it a few minutes ago, i don't think they are clown since the clowns are in the complete opposite corner from the eggs, the only other pair of anything i have is two yellow wrasse and two chromis which have paired off

That's crazy. Def not the clows. They're more orange and not clustered up so much like that. That's awesome though!! Hopefully they hatch

Or

Fresh sushi tonight?!?! Haha

Lol that's what my wife said about the sushi!, I am 90% sure my bang gain was female all along and she dropped the eggs. I had been hearing her make popping sounds for a few week's and she is the only fish near the eggs

Wife ftw!! Who bang gang?!?! Lol ya seems like it. My clowns have been making those noises. Maybe she's gonna lay some eggs?!

I had a clutch of these stuck in my powerhead around a week and a half ago too - so weird. I'm pretty sure my Bangaii is a male though (had another one and they seemed to chase each other and click at each other all the time).

Those pretty much mean your banggai is a female. Check between the two lower fins after she eats, just in front of the rear fin you should see one small protrusion on the female and two on the male.

I am more sure now about the banggai, look at the lower abdomen and it is all sunken in now. In other words, stretched out...lol

Love the Waveline,. just noticed it's a Speedwave lol. need to fix my sig. but yes the 6 settings let me simulate tides. at night i set it to #4 as if the tide is going out and in the morning i bump it up to #5 as if the tide was coming in. Once i get my ReefAngel i will actually set it with tides throughout the day. right now it is a manual process, and i can use max flow for nutrient export.

Do you think it could handles 11 ft of head?

i would shoot for the 12000, I have it on my wish list as soon as it is available,

New features:
New closed pressure rated impeller
Less head loss for increased flow compared to Gen 1 pumps
Forward compatibility with new controller on future Waveline pumps
Anti run dry protection / anti over amperage protection
New 30 minute feed mode vs 10 minute on Gen 1 controller
Neptune Systems Apex compatibility coming soon!

Model: DC-12000
Input: DC24V 7A
(Converted by AC100-240V 50/60Hz
Wattage: 170W at full speed
(Measured After Adaptor)

I'm on board with that...my only concern has been some reports of reliability issues in general with DC pumps. That's why I asked you...:D
