Added a pair of firefish and red fin fairy wrasse to QT. So far all are eating but one fire fin doesn't want to swim around, may have been bullied and bit. Hopefully he will settle in.

I'm on board with that...my only concern has been some reports of reliability issues in general with DC pumps. That's why I asked you...

So far 6 months with no issues. I will probably tear it apart this weekend for cleaning.

Noticed a tiny bit of hair algae on one rock and decided to check my water, measured 007 coming out. I rotated the di chamber vertically but am still reading the same. System is 6 months old and is sitting after 2 other prefilters. Any ideas why?

Have you changed the DI resin in those 6 months? If not you're due.

I have not, I have the color changing one and it's still the same color from day one. I've probably only run about 500 gallons through it. I do have a new bag of resin so I will try that and see. .thanks

decided to redo the left and half of the center of my rock work, the right half of the center i did a few weeks ago and the right side is bare until i get my third Hydra.

Left Side. disregard the PVC frame, once the Epoxystick colors up it will blend right in.

Those are Zebra snails or a very small Mexican Turbo snail.

The new rockwork looks great. I got some sweet rock in this weekend. We might have a last mission before aquascaping.
