Should work as well. You just have to make sure that it's dosing the 2 parts equally.
true sound barrier but certainly can be problematic donw the road.<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=12102634#post12102634 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by ClownReef®
Thanks everybody!!!
GASMAN- The bioballs are only there to break the splashing noise of the water going down the overflow box..
UPDATE:
Well, i just finished installing Beast-o!..a 35 watt Aqua Medic Helix Max UV Sterilizer!!! (INSERT IGNORE IGNORE EVIL LAUGH HERE!)..
A little 5 watt UV would have worked fine..but i got a killer deal on this one..which would be 600% more than i would actually need..LOL
As far as coral goes.. well, i have some zoas in there right now..LOL
SPS will have to wait a little bit longer, i just wanna have the tank in the best conditions possible..
But soon nonetheless!![]()

I think he's worried about the bio-balls becoming a nitrate producer in the long run... I would assume if you took them out every now and then for a good rinse/cleaning you'd be ok...
great- just trying to simplify your maintenance.<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=12103882#post12103882 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by ClownReef®
Oh absolutely!.. Im very well aware food and other junk will get caught in between the bio balls..so a good rinse/scrub will be part of the maintenance routine..
