SPS Shallow Reef Tank Build Thread

They will kill all life out of your sandbed. If you don't want live sand or a deep sand bed, get one. Otherwise, skip it.

They arent really showing any pairing up behavior.. they ignore eachother so far.. We'll see how it goes..
 
Thanks Marc.. We had our hearts set on Onyx..but we couldn't get them soon..

Should i stock all my fish first? or coral first?..or simultaneously??..

I only have my 2 small Hippo tangs to add.. and thats it..
 
It might be a tad early for the tangs, since they are heavy eaters and heavy poopers. I'd give it a week with the clowns, then introduce your corals. Three weeks later, the tangs. Then sit back and enjoy the carnage...er...I mean the beauty of your reef.

Hippos can be a tad destructive, ime.
 
Yeah, you're absolutely right.. I tend to forget to be patient..:D

Ok, so ill wait for the tangs..no rush..

Im thinking about trying Prodibio.. Ive read really good reviews about it.. What are your thoughts about it??
