Easily one of my favourite tanks...

Apart from the phenomenal growth, corals have colored up really well.

Noticeably, the now blue stag from when it was brownish.

What do you attribute the excellent coloration to?

Hello Tony!
The colors are fantastic! I like so much this layout style plain.
I agree to the Bello, therefore its tank is very pleasant.
Congratulations!!:bounce3:
Best Regards!

Tony, looking at the two photos above, that is very dramatic change in coral colouration. I can see at least 3 corals which have changed from being brownish to their new respective colours.

Can you please let us know if you changed/dosed/did something during this time to get such a dramatic change?

Eg, did you start running a particular brand of Phosphate remover? Did you change out the T5 tubes? Did you start dosing something? etc etc.

If you can pinpoint something or give us an idea as to what would have contributed to such a change it would really help us out.

PS do you have your frag tank setup with frags yet? I would love a frag of the jade/blue stag. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your kind words :)

The colours have come as a response to very stable consistent environmental conditions and changing my T5 tubes every 6 to 9 months.

Hi Sahin,

Thanks for your post.

I've not done anything special or added any potions or used any out of the ordinary media. I would attribute the colours to the system maturing and developing according to the environmental conditions provided.

Tony

Wow you can really see your grow and color change in these pics. Your growth is crazy fast! Huge improvement in coral color. Great job, stellar tank.

Very nice and inspirational tank! Sorry if I didn't see this already, but I noticed the Polario was removed or replaced. What are your thoughts on that pump?

Thank you for your compliments

The polario was great whilst it lasted but the controller died. So Tunze wins again :-)
