I kept a pair for the better part of a year. FWIW, they're not deepwater and are found in groups above rubble, in a slightly different habitat from many other anthias we keep. No need for a species tank, they mix well with other small anthias.
The good news is they are agressive feeders ( not agressive to other fish just good eaters). Very hardy fish. If you have an open area the male will put on a display for his females - reminds me a bit of the 'look at me' display that male fairies put on for a female.
Bad news is R. squirei are the worst anthias I have kept when it comes to jumping and if there's a small hole they will find it.
