Starcki Damsel - Rare or Seasonal?

Wow, I was going to try to find a different damsel or a chromis but that picture changed my mind again! Maybe one of the LFS around here can finally get one.
 
My trio. LFS just got them in yesterday. Two smaller ones are only about 1.5" in size.

A trio would be neat! I've only got one and he's been in QT for awhile, waiting for the new display to finish cycling,(breaking down old system, starting up a new one).

I'd be concerned about aggression from the three...what size tank are they going in?

Valid concern, they are damsels after all. I'll give it a try and if things don't go well I'll separate them.

Well I got on LA's list for any Starcki Damsels they get in. I'm still not 100% on getting one but thinking really hard about it. :D
 
They're worth it IMO...
Mine is about 1.5 inches and a complete model of pascifism...
Currently in QT with a pair of lyre tail anthias and a small Christmas wrasse,(H.ornatissimus), and it's the wuss of the 55 gallon. The wrasse was about the same size as the Starcki orginally, but has grown larger since they've been together.
 
How active would you guys say your Starckis are? Hyperactive like a big Tang, just sit and stare like Cardinals, kinda in the middle like a small wrasse?
 
Pretty active, but not as restless as most tangs. The one I have in the 100 gal has his territory at one corner of the tank but also inspects the rest of the tank once in a while.

Mine know me and know that I'm the one who brings the food. As soon as they see me they sit on the front waiting for the food to drop in. The one still in QT gets all excited and chases everyone else away to get the most food. The one in the 100 gal is a bit more relaxed.

No, after I ordered my 2 Tuesday night another shipment from Java must have come in. Those sold out quickly, but the ones from Tonga were still available last night when I made my post.
