Been out of the reef stuff almost a year. Looking to do something small for an office desk. I picked up an ac 70, heater, sand and three pounds dry rock from brs. Want to do sps mainly. I ordered a six led diy set from rapid led. Seems to produce a good amount of light, but i lack a par meter. I have 80 degree optics. Anyone with experience on this know if that will be enough light? I plan on manually dosing daily and basically just a cleanup crew or maybe a couple of small shrimp. Thanks in advance.

Oh and tank is a mr aqua 3 gallon bowfront.

The equipment will be good enough for SPS, but being in an office will make it more difficult to monitor and keep thin stable. An good ATO is a must then (unless it's a home office).
And as for the dosing... I personally wouldn't unless you're testing daily. Frequent small water changes would be far more beneficial overall, an have a significantly decreased probability of a catastrophe (like an overdose burning everything).

Its in a home office. I'm a nurse in a hospital and wouldn't trust not being able to watch it closely. What do you suggest for water change frequency? A gallon or less every couple days?
