Well,

It'll be an exciting and hectic time for you Steve! I grew up moving every 3 years as my Dad was in the Air Force so, I know how it is....

Now as far as the tank goes, I'm especially excited for you and look forward to seeing your progress!

Keep us posted (I know you will) and good luck with everything,

Dave

Thank you Dave. By this time next year if i can't get what i want, i will leave the Corps and transfer to another branch and finish the rest of my 20yrs. I may join the Armies :D cuz they offer seat at Ranger School for Infantry Marine who want to make the inter-service transfer....

Looking good,

Two questions, First have you hooked the 4200 up to a killawatt meter yet? Looking to see how much current it draws and how quiet is it? I am looking at swapping out my barracuda CL pump for one of these guys

Second
How much do you est to spend each month keeping up with Zeovit on this size tank? I looked into Zeovit awhile back, but when I est. the cost it was ridiculous using the recommended dosage scaled to 400gal. I know that would be overkill, but I am not sure how far to scale it back.

Brett, i have not fire up the 4200 in my tank but i have test run it in a bin. It does move lots of water as for testing for wattage draws i have not test it yet. I will let you know in the next couple weeks after i get the tank up and running.

As for Zeovit it does cost a bunch to start due to the cost of the zeovit reactor but in the maintain stage it doesn't cost much. I always order the larger size to save money. With my large system i would say no more than $100/month. I used to run it in my 550g system and it cost around $50/month..

LOL- thinking about You, Mark and I moving next to each other and sharing a 6' diameter skimmer to run our tanks Steve-LOL- we would have to pay someone to come clean the collection cup :) and the water and power bill would be pretty high in that neighborhood

Awesome Steve, Looking forward too seeing it up and running! I'm sure this has been answered already in the thread, but who built the tank, it looks great

SuperR, the tank was build by a local fish store name Atlantic tropical aquarium also know as ATA. They also build my sump... I really am impress with the tank and the sump...

A minor update :D. Since edison decided to raise the cost of electricity. I will go down in lighting :D i will use 2 x 400w instead of 4x400w. The 2 lights will be on light mover

Jose, i did thought about it. But i used to run 1 MH on my 4x4 cube. Remember i also have 4 ATI power module 4bulbs fixtures running along the side. If 2 MH not enough, i can always add the 3rd light. Or i can have 2 light stationary and the middle one on the mover... What do you think?

Your tank is not tall at all and with the supp you will also have the spread so I think run 3 or 4 250w. What do you think?
