That looks great Steve. It seems like you added more rock too, as the tank has more open space before. Or perhaps its just an illusion from that angled shot.

Marc, i don't like the way the rock look right now. Once my prop tank up and running the zoas rock and the Ricordea rock will move out. I like the open look. I dipped the yumas rock into fresh water for 10 mins and they aren't too happy at this point :D

You might need a bigger CO2 tank.

Yes sir, i have a 35lbs coming from ATB don't know when but Victor promised me a free container :D. I will order the Aquariumplants Digital CO2 regulator next week..

Interesting Steve,

Not bashing at all but being new to Zeo myself, I'm curious? The Food7 I thought you were supposed to hold off a bit on? I'm at just over 4 weeks myself and my tank is clean with only light dusting of green algae (new skimmer coming Thursday should solve that?) and all my params are pretty spot on with a CA exception but that's no big woop.

My corals are a bit lighter so far and I wanted to tweak the colors up a bit and wanted to start dosing my CV and possibly the Food too, what do you think?

I'll post up and ask G. Alexander over at the Zeo forum as well but just wanted your .02?

Thanks again

Dav, according to the instruction plus i have been using it for many years. The Food7 is for corals and Bacteria. Once you have coral in the tank, you should start dosing it but be very careful with that stuff cuz it will give you some nasty algae. You should get yourself a Blonde naso if you decided to run Zeovit for a long time. My old tank has this crazy lettuce algae that only the blonde naso will eat them. It will cover all your rock in a matter of a month. Here is the pic...

Ed, i have ZeoZym on order for a large container. I have never try it before but i heard it help with Red slime :D

One thing i WILL NEVER use Reefer Best salt. I had a very bad experience with the salt in my old tank. 75% of my corals has burn tips from high ALK

Red slime not much IME as I think CS mix w Bak is more effective but great for diatoms and algae.

I also notice that Zym works better if use from the initial start-up (before all the hell algae takes over the tank). I now dose this twice/week and CS and twice/week in different times with my Zym and my sand bed looks brand new

:D
