no adverse effect decent growth with no lights, but slightly browner, color comes back fast though.

I have never try the blackout because i worry my corals will turn white . BTW, my clean up crews working very hard to keep the rock clean. This is the first time i feel they are being useful

no they wont turn white, they actually accelerate calcification, Sonnyx tried it and it worked for him so i tried it and it worked for me.

i fragged my cali tort before lights out and 3 days later it had a couple new growth tips at the point of cutting, and the frag had started encrusting.

Mark, i got the sohal last week from DanW. Unfortunately the fish decided to put couple holes on the bag and drain the water out. He arrived at my house with barely any water inside. Thanks god he doing good
