Lunch, talking about being crazy at least i didn't run my PF601S in an 50g tank like you did :D. I just want to get as much flow as i possibly can without blowing the panel :D. I should have pretty good amount flow in the tank....

Yeah, tell me about it :D

I ordered

4 1.5"and 2 1" Hayward bulkhead (This is just for the overflow box)
2 1.5"and 4 1" Cepex heavy duty true union ball valves
20 1.5 sch80 90 elbow
20 1" sch80 90 elbow
10 1.5" sch80 45 elbow
4 1" cap
4 1" coupling
10 foot sch80 PVC pipe 1"
4 1.5" coupling

It doesn't seem to be much but it cost over $400 including shipping..

yeh my step dads a pumber and he spends a hell of a lot on things like pipes and u-bends but we gain alot from weighing the scrap copper pipe in :)

ok finally caught up now :D. how much bigger are 6301's then 6201's? i will need to order the turbo pumps now after seeing yours. i will probably add another wavebox extension and line all 3 between overflow boxes toward the rear, what ya think?

quality valves are not cheap!
are you going all sch80 or mixing alot of 40 too?

Ryan, i will keep them all sch.80. I am going to get a box of unions of both sizes for easy remove and reassemble.....

Bart, the 6301 is the same size with the 6201 except larger gap on the intake screen and the X on the nozzle.

You can line them up along the back wall but your wave will be back and forth between the 48" length. I would put them all on one size panel and let them rock the 96" length... Plus your overflow box is in the back, it will help with the noise....

My next order will be PVC 1.5" pipe. I may need at least 30 foot and some more of the 1.5"... I will pre-plumb everything before the move :D

Hey Steve,
I feel your pain about PVC...I have been rethinking things.

Do you have a Lowe's hardware near you?
Home Depot here does not but Lowes carries SCH 80 PVC pipe and a lot of fittings.
The prices are about the same with tax but there are no shipping costs.
Sean

Sean, i have lowe's approx 1.5 miles away and Home depot but none of them carry sch.80 gray pvc... I don't want to paint the pipe :D. I want all my plumbing to be in the same color :D

Your sketch look very good. I will forward it to Jay. I will talk to him later....
