Dude, i have been looking at your tank and Chris (Reefkoi) been telling me to go with 30" tall so i decided to drop down another $800 to make my tank 600g instead of 480g. Now i have to upgrade the Ca reactor.

the longer you wait to start, the more upgrades you will be doing. just imagine when your birdnest and stag gets bigger that few inches will help . what type of overflows are you doing?

Peninsula tank with one end overflow box. The overflow box is 24x7x14, each side of the overflow will have the waveboxes 12x7x14. The overflow teeth is 3" deep and 1/2" gap between the teeth. 5 holes drill inside the overflow. 3x1.5" 2 drain 1 return, 2x1" to feed the BK400ext and H&S A-300

With that big tank, I'll give you my Euroreef skimmer after I upgrade. You can use my ER as a HOB skimmer! :lol:

ER is a good skimmer... Which series do you have? I help my friend modify his RS250 with Recir on the original pump and use the Sedra 5000 to feed the skimmer. His protein skimmer full of bubble all the way to the bottom.

you display will be cleaner then the ocean itself and corals wont grow. you will be in the negative for nutrients

RS250 also. How does his skim now? Better than BK?
