Bart, I will be moving to Aurora, CO by Denver. I have been through a few cold weather training on top of Mount Fuji, i should be fine :D.

Steve is in Hawaii and still tankless.....all he can do is visit the waikiki aquarium and dream

I talked to him friday for some 1,000 watt bulb advice :) He was getting ready to go on a submarine ride, what a bum! I wish I was in Hawaii right now.
Its about 10 degrees out, snowing and very windy, you're going to love it here in Colorado Steve!
Chris

I got a chance to meet up with the diver and exotic angel breeders in Hawaii lastnight. Man, i am still drunk from lastnight :D.

Hey Steve, where you been? Any updates? Did you really sell the BK400? How come?

I still have the BK400ext, i made a few change with the tank :D. It is now 600g 8x4x30. I will hook up the A-300 and the BK400ext in that tank and will see what it can do :D

WOW! Can't wait til you start your build  I thought you had sold your BK cuz i read it in another thread.

Steve, what have you heard about the BK Submarine 250 skimmer? Not sure if I have the room to fit the big-boy skimmer like you guys

I don't have any experience with the supermarin but expect it to be as good because the new design NW and the pump produce much more than the BK300, also the new cone design look like a great idea. If you don't have much room in the sump, BK250 supermarin is your best choice.

wow Hawaii Steve, great vacation spot. im there soon my lil ones get bigger, well that's if these frags ever get bigger :D need to check my PO4. make sure you bring something back for me

What's different about the new NW?
Yeah, the pump on the supermarin 250 sounds like a good one: 2L/H air and 4L/H (~1060 GPH) water.

tbone, i setup a tank 150gal for friend few months backs and he purchased BK250 internal old style, this thing really kick out some skimmate in 24hrs.

T-bone, you will be happy with either the supermarin or the old style 250. I prefer the old style because the reaction time is longer due to the height of the body. Check out some pic i took at Waikiki aquarium center

Honestly, i am not too impress with their SPS tank. They seem to have some kind of flow issue. There is a giant colony of staghorn that die from the bottom due to the lack of flow. Their outdoor tank look impressive :D

Steve, thanks for sharing those pics. Anthony should get a flower from his shop and put it behind his ear. It will make him prettier

I was somewhat disappointed with the place because i have to walk couple block from my hotel room to see that darn thing. I expect more then just that.
