That is why i paid a big bucks for him . Vlamingi is one of my favorite Tang beside the Achilles but i will not buy another Achilles unless some genuis figure out the way to keep them alive

Ryan, i am not sure if there is another name for him. But i know him by the name Vlamingi.

I will have a large school of yellow tang, couple purple tang, 100 assorted chromis and damsel, a pair of crosshatch, and anthias. I don't want to spent too much money on fish

weird, I thought only the juvenilles looked like that... if hes 12" then shouldn't he have a big huge nose in front??

guess I have alot to learn about vlamingis! (not like it matters to me.... and my little 220 , dont want to attract the tang police)

ok well after some searching (some, not alot), Vlamingi tangs are in the Naso genus

an article on the 'ethics of keeping vlamingis'. He says that a 6foot long x 2foot wide tank is absolute minimum. I guss I am right at the minimum!

No other fish on hold. I bought the fish because it look nice. I have couple interuptus on preorder. But it will not be available till the end of the year....
