WOW!!!!!!! LOOKS GREAT MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Humidity is a minor problem most of the time. My lovely bride likes to keep the house quite cold, so the A/C runs a lot in the summer which keeps the humidity down. When it's dry in the winter, we keep the windows open, so that keeps humidity down. It during the damp, cool times of year when it's noticeable.Originally posted by Emster
Mike is there anything you do to keep the humidity down in that room with such a large tank?
I found that the pumps and OM-4ways had to be cleaned very regularly to keep the calcium from building up.Originally posted by sivert55
what problems did Kalk cause with your previous closed loop?
Thanks Bobby. No shadowing. I have the three lights centered between the braces. I have DIY 14 inch reflectors. I'm going to make 3 more, this time 20 inch for better coverage front to back.Originally posted by Saldarya
The build looks great. Have you noticed any shadowing with the black plastic bracing used on the Marineland tank with the three MH you are using?
Thanks!
