Nice Job Mike you do great work and have great ideas throughout. Would be interstering to see the first tank you ever had and see how you have morphed into your last two setups.
Thanks, I got my first tank for my birthday in 1969...undergravel air lift filter...wow have times changed!

Excellent! Looks really good, Mike. Give it a few months and it will be absolutely killer! Have to agree with everyone on the dark blue - perfect - makes me sorry I used black.

Tom, I've made hundreds of dives on reefs all over the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico, and when visibility is over 100 feet, it's looks dark blue, so I thought I would give it a try. I like it more every day.

I know I have said it before-I have to give it to you-the blue in your tank is awesome- like you, everytime I see your tank I like it more and more too.

That was a bold move with the blue wall and the white trim but it really has paid off.

Your aquascape is really nice too- and still gives the blue background a chance to show.

You should be very proud.:inlove:

I loved your 390, but this tank is even more attractive! Very nice! What brand and color of light bulbs you use on your tank?

Thanks, I really enjoyed the 390 also. This one will be up much longer. As for lights, I'm using Aquaconnect 250 watt 14 K bulbs with Ice Cap ballasts in the DIY 14" reflectors. I've ordered http://stores.northcoasthydroponics.com/-strse-9173/Grow-Light-Reflectors/Detail.bok to make 18" reflectors. I also have two 165 watt VHO actinic on an Ice Cap 660 ballast.

Tank looks great...have to go out of town on the 14th otherwise I'd be there.
Thanks, you need to come by when you come through here.
Anything new with your 375???

that's a really nice build from start to today i appreciate this thread.
Thank you very much.

I read your 390 thread a few months ago and just found your new build thread. One of the best in walls I have ever seen, very distinctive and unique. The Blue and white colors are great. I would be trying a dark blue background this weekend if I didn't have Coraline on all but the top 20% of my back glass. Look forward to following this thread.

Tom

Tom, thanks for the great words. I also really like the blue and white.

Tom, the Anthias mix is no problem. The 2 Ignitus males and the 1 Bartletts male "flash" at each other quite a bit each evening, very entertaining, but no physical contact.
