Strange little critters running around my tank at night

I have these little creatures running around my tank at night. They look almost exactly like the mysis shrimp that I feed my fish. Do mysis shrimp come on live rock?

I'd attach a photo, but they move around a lot, and they only come out at night. The second I put a light on them, they run to the nearest hiding spot in my live rock.

yup they do, they are probably not gonna hurt a thing . actually they are good food for say a mandrin or almost any wrasse ,they will love em !

Most likely they are amphipods. They are a good food source for some tank inhabitants.

The fact that they run into your live rock when exposed to light makes me doubt its mysis. Every time I do some night watching with my tank, the mysis appear to be attracted to my flashlight. I'm thinking amphipods as well, but they don't look nothing like mysis in my opinion.
