I installed a 6110 kit about two weeks ago and I hear this constant alternating humming noise. Should there be any noise or do I have a problem. The bracket is tight but I still get this noise that can be heard from two rooms away and my tank is built into a wall. Sounds alot like the buzzing noise that a ballast makes but alternates b/c of the pulse mode.

Their is a slight hum from the pumps but this should not be audible after a few weeks of run in unless you are right next to the tank. This condition is aggravated by cold water and not using the included vibration dampner pads or the 3000.244 suction cup. The total run in of the drive unit takes 3 months. But their is a slight groaning noise present even after this but at least personally I cannot hear it unless I am right about against the tank.
