Streams for a 24" cube?

Downgrading my 180G to a 60G cube.

Was wondering if using Streams would benefit me much or be overkill?

I already have a 6100 and a 7094 controller along with a wavebox.

Could I just lower the power via the controller and somehow hook the wavebox up to the controller to act as a regular pump? I'd like the have variable flow as it'll be SPS dominant...

i was told very recently that it would be overkill on my 65g.....so i am guessing you'll get similar response.
i just set up my CL and am very happy.

you do lose that, but you can put a four-way output on it to get better overall flow than 2 outlets.
Smaller tank(under 125g.) definitely limit your options in some ways.

Seeing as you have it you could try it. Converting a wavebox to a continuous duty pump is more involved and I would advise against it. It could destroy the pump unless you change a few parts to essentially make it into a Stream. The 6100 could be converted to a 6000 for about $38 and for that much I would be willing to try it out and see.
