Im sure you all remember me talking just last week about my hippo tang getting aggressive towards me. well today about to go do my water change and i notice my tang has all these little pimple like things with little white spots. Pretty positive its ICH. I have had no new fish additions in years. The tang is about 5 yrs old. Fat and healthy, great color, still eats like a normal pig. Something has got him stressed, i know he is getting big but i wouldn't think he would be that stressed all of a sudden from space concerns. I have not even been in the tank recently to **** him off.
Ive treated(or not treated) ich once when i first got him like most tangs they come in with ich usually. Back then i just crushed up some garlic cloves and soaked the fish food in the juices. Fed to everyone. Ich was gone and i have never seen it in my tank since until now.
What do you all think? is he that stressed from the confined space. About 6.5 inches long ,1 inch thick, In a 90. Pretty open scape with 2 islands allowing for a figure 8 type swim pattern that he does utilize.
Should i treat, catch, and find a new home? That will be a sad
