Your in Viera for Christmas? I used to work as a BMW technician in Melbourne which is a lot farther away than Viera! You are close...maybe 20 minutes?

I was there for Christmas and New Years but got home last night.
Drive was a nightmare... :D

PS. Yes, it is very close to Titusvile. I always pass Titusvile on the way there (exit 195 on 95)

Man I bet. I drove to NYC last year so I know what you mean. Glad you made it home safe!

Thanks! :)
You know, I drove in September to Sunny Isles to visit friends of mine and never had a problem.., so I assumed it would be as good in holidays season...you know what happens when you assume... :D Maybe it was easier in September because gas was over $4? :eek1:

Oh,well...sorry for disrupting your thread Jesse.

That's a 17-40 f/4L on a full frame camera. You'd need about 11mm on a crop camera to get the same width.

Keep in mind that there is also over $400 filters involved in that shot. ;)

By the way, Doug, forgot to say that this is one fantastic shot.
Do you see some barrel distortion in that image or it;s just my lousy eyesight? I have the same piece of glass but on the crop body never saw this.
Anyway, the shot is as spectacular as I would imagine the West Coast to be.

Thanks Gene.

Yeah, that wide on a full frame there is a little barrel distortion. It doesn't bother me, and is easily removed when it does.

Cheers

I take that pic with telephoto lens. and the cloud just a little move.

All shots were taken with in 5 minutes of each other. Taken at Lake Naomi in the Pocono Mountains of Pa on Christmas Day. Thanks to Aperture for the different temperature settings!
Oh yeah these were taken with my CoolPIX P&S
