I need a new skimmer, my old euro-reef clone needs to be replaced.
I was thinking a SWC 160.
I am not sure if my bioload would be considered high or medium.
It is a 60" x 18" x 24" tank (1/2" thick acrylic = approx 100gal)
Here is what I have for fish in my SPS dominated reef.
- Huge Tomato Clown (about 4" and thick)
- Medium sized yellow tang (about 3.5" and thick)
- Medium sized Rabbitfish (about 4")
- Eibli Angelfish (2" dwarf)
- 3.5" Full grown ocellaris clown
- 2" Medium sized ocellaris clown
- 3.5" yellow watchman goby
- 2" Green clown goby (Citron Goby)
- 2.5" Lawnmower blenny
- 2" Royal Gramma
- 8 blue green chromis (all approx 1.5")
I don't plan on adding more fish, most of the new additions were SCRK raffle wins (almost all the chromis, the gramma, and the blenny). The only way I am going to try and win a fish is if the raffle is "only" for that fish...
So. what do you think... will this skimmer be enough? or should I go one size up?
