I have an opportunity to pick up two free 4"-6" Syngnathus scovelli, has anyone had experience with this type of pipefish? How well do they fare in the typical reef tank. They are currently eating mysis. I've skimmed multiple studies and forum posts, some reffering to them as freshwater pipes, some as marine pipes. Getting clarification from the supplier now, any insight on that as well?
