i just installd my tek 6 bulb 24" t5 fixture in the canopy of my 90 cube 30x30x24. it gives really good coverage acroos the whole tank. im really pleased. the unit was used so im going to get new bulbs. my tank is sps dominated so what would be a good mixture with a color in the 12-14k range? i was thinking maybe 3 ge 6500k, the rest blue plus and then 2 actinc 65w pcs for the color and good par. also how high off the water should the bulbs be. right now they are about 7"off.
