Looking good Anthony. You are still in a new task phase. I am just starting to get rid of my cyanobacteria in my sump area and the diatoms in the main display. My tank is 7 months from the completed cycle. Those are frustrating for sure. It will come around

Wow. All I can say is there are some really amazing and diverse tanks here in town. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the tag.

Josh? Have you been tagged? If not... :celeb3:

Well, Josh has informed me that even though he started this thread, he's still in the process of setting up his display so he's breaking all the rules by declining :p

So next up is ttanadi. You're up buddy :)

hahaha....when I saw you being tagged by Anthony last nite, I had this feeling that you will tag me. I will post something tomorrow nite. I just shut down the mini tank and putting new gyre pump on the big tank.

I couldnt find old picture of the mini tank and I will learn how to post picture on this thing tonight. I will take some pictures tomorrow.

Anthony, your tank is looking amazing bud!!! that width must be very nice for aquascaping!
I love that tang, he's beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Mark, thanks for the tag bud. Sorry I had to decline. I know I'm breaking the rule by declining, but I've already got to tag a couple people without sharing mines so I didn't want to take the tag and retag again. I'd much rather you have the honor of tagging. Btw, great choice, I'm excited about this next tag!! I can definitely use some ideas from Tris' elos.

I am an Asian man so stereotypically I would cram as much fish as I can in a given space if possible. To be honest I think the fish like it more rather than having too much area for themselves. You won't observe certain social behaviors until they reach a certain population threshold. Having more fish reduces aggression even from fish in the same genotype. They could not focus on one specific fish to bully. They also do not hide as much. They feel more secure when there are a lot of fish around. Safety in numbers I guess. Most new fish I add immediately swim freely. No hiding period. I don't stack rocks and I leave a gap between rocks so they all have a place to sleep at night or dart when spooked. With all the area on top, the fish can swim freely and I have no issue with getting flow throughout the length of the tank.

Yes, I have compared the radions, Mithras and hydra52s. I would pick the ai hydra 52 hands down. I am ok with my finances and could have jumped in the led bandwagon when the ai sols came out. I just didn't think they were good enough for acros. I waited sooo long before I jumped in because I wanted an led fixture that I can control with my apex. When I found out the apex will come out with the awm and the hydra 52s, I knew it was time. Everyone was raving about the mitras because they were full spectrum but they were not controllable by the apex. Second, it is a European equipment which means it cost too much. $1300 was ridiculous too me. Even the first radion that sold for $950 seems overpriced. When ai came with the hydra 52 with 10 more LEDs than the radion with a price of $600 and using the same LEDs as the radion it was my time to jump in. The hydra has strong uv and the actinic is better compared to the radion pro. Brighter too just because it has 10 more LEDs than the radion. Also the hydra 52 runs at 135watts and the radion at 175 with fewer LEDs. I have the new radion xr15 pro in that anemone cube and the hydra is more pleasing to my eyes. I would prefer to put a hydra there but the apex awm can only control 12 ai fixtures. Since I already have the apex wxm controlling my vortech, I just upgraded the firmware and purchased a radion because I can control 11 total vortech a and radion with the wxm module. I am actually thinking about removing the remaining 3 x 400watt radius and replacing them with the radion pros simply because I can still control 5 additional radions.

ROTFLMAO, Asian men aren't the only one's guilty of that!

Josh, my tank is still pretty bare. I just start putting corals in it. It looks like I wont be able to get to it till sunday morning. The boss has a plan that will force me out of the house for the whole day. To copy Glenn, Im asian and I do have a lot of fishes too :)

Good seeing you also Tim. I want to see you participate in the comp next year :)
I havent been home the whole day so wont get to the tag till tomorrow.

Before I start talking more about my tank, I would like to say couple things first the tank is dirty and I didn't have time to do some clean up work between running around this weekend plus the wife aka boss is going out of the country tomorrow. Well, I didnt know most of the the coral names, ok..I know their names but I don't which one is what.

I have been fortunate to have a lot of friends that I could talk to and ask questions from in this hobby. Not going to name names, but you know who you're, so THANK YOU.
I also fortunate to have friends that are into zoas and chalices so a lot of my frags are coming from them.

I never really took any pics of my tank before so bear with me with them.
So here you go:
I have currently have about 1.5 tank running. The first tank is a small 20g tank (16x16x16). It used to house my zoas, and some mushrooms with a pair of picasso clownfish. I shut it down couple days ago, gave away the zoas rock to a good friend and I couldnt find any picture of it. I think the last person or only person ever got a picture of it i s mpoletti awhile ago. Well, the plan is to turn the the small tank into sea horse tank.
