Taking The Plunge...

Roger,

Thanks for the advise given in the past. I actualy found that Preuss pets in Lansing, MI has the TS07 in stock. I plan on adding to my FOWLR system that I'm adding corals to. The substrate is a mix of aragamax oolitic sand (40%), seaflor reef sand (40%) and Florida crushed coral (20%).

The tank is an AGA drilled 125 with the 2 internal overflows. 2 questions:

1) TS07 too powerful for this set-up (likely will house mushrooms, toadstools, bubble coral (don't like too much motion), and an assortment of zoos, some yellow polyps (will end up being more than some, I'm sure))?

2) The photo-cell for night operation is a desirable thing; can;t tell if that works directly with the single controller or if I need some Y-adapter to hook it in with the strream control line. Do I just order the 7094 cell and that's it?

Typical story, I PM Steve at Preuss to see about getting Granovit and end up with an order for Granovit, a replacement skimmer cup for my 3130, filter carts for my 3166, the 5074 calcium dispenser, and the TS07.

Darn you guys and your quality stuff!!!!!

If anything it might be too week, they only cover a four foot area, also the flow is very wide so it may stir the sand up a bit. I would take a look at the 7400/2, I think they have a couple in use at the store. The photo cell just plugs onto the controller. I have all the stuff you need in stock and Steve is already working on it, he left me a message so we should have no problem getting it to you.

Hmm, so by that logic, I could a) go from the TS07 to the 7400/2 and generate flow over longer distances, although not as "gentle" or "wide" as with the stream?...or b) go with the TS07 and feed my return flow from the sump fully through a single one of my 2 return lines to cover the other end of the tank?...or c) go with the TS12 and use the 6100...or is that flow going to cover 4' as well?
