I was at my local Petco and they received the tang shown below. They had it listed as a Lavender Tang, however, I don't think it is. I know the pics are bad through dirty glass, but does anyone recognize what kind of tang it might be?

Looks like it has a dark scalpel, so it's not a duss. Looks like a blochii (ring tail) to me.

Bariene looks pretty close. I wish I was in the market for him. They have him priced at $27.99.

Wow, a steal! It's too bad he's at a petco and likely won't go to someone with a large tank, especially listed as a lavender

Looks like a dussumieri,if it is be careful.I put mine in a established tank (8x3x3) with a blue,yellow & sailfin tangs (in take for 3 years) killed them all in one night.

While it's not a dussi, I have heard that barienes are very aggressive.
