Was just wondering if I got another 34gal Solana, would it be big enough or not.LFS has some nice ones about 6-8". Thanks, eric

I'd say no, however, that is just me. Keeping water quality pristine would be a challenge and carpets can get very large. I have a Haddoni that would easily take up over half the width of the tank and will continue to grow.
We have a 34 and house a GBTA , with a pair of clarkis and thats it and personally like the effect this has. My .02. Good luck.

Honestly, in my opinion I would not. As already mentioned, keeping your parameters good all the time in the volume of water could be difficult. Dont get me wrong, many have succeeded but my view is keeping such an animal should be a pleasure, not a chore. Perhaps start with a bubble tip - something tank raised and a bit more forgiving. See how you get on - you can always get a carpet later if things work out :)
Good luck either way
Cheers
Keith
