Tank of the Month - February '06

The tank is so gorgoeous, what a fantastic job, it was very interesting reading about how it was built. Just stunning, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen!

That tank could have been full of goldfish and I would still vote it tank of the month Who cares how old it is. Thats age discrimination. I bet that this tank will be even more unbelieveable in a few years. I mean common this guy changes his sand bed b/c he wants to keep it white. Its going to survive.

Wow wow wow. Truly an inspiration!

On another note, has anyone ever thought about taking all the "Tanks of the Month" and having all the members vote on a "Tank of the Year" in December?

I thought water changes were burdensome, I can't even imagine the dedication to changing the sandbed regularly. What an amazing achievement !!! The schooling fish are incredible, as are the corals :D

I am at a total loss for words. Once you think you have seen it all. Not only do I love the tank, but the room as well. Overall a wonderful oasis you have created. Great craftsmanship.

Cheers,

Definitely my idol tank...I have been drooling over this system since I laid eyes on it, and I'm glad it's finally getting the recognition it more than deserves!

wow.....
that is an amazing tank, I'm glad that everything is real and that it has a sandbed.
I'm also curious as to what business it is in. Also, do you have any pics of the 125g seahorse tank that was mentioned?
...a sandbed that he changes out every few weeks (per the article)! :eek2:

I too would love to see pics of the seahorse tank--I'm sure it's stunning as well.

Here's a pic of the seahorse-tank:

Apart from seahorses, there are also different gobies and pipefish in this tank. It is lit by T5 bulbs.

I have seen this tank for real ones, you can stare at it for hours.

For the many who asked:

It stands in a fireplace showroom
