*sigh* And here I am with little flecks on frag plugs. Who am I kidding? I'm buying whole colonies for now on or nothing at all.

Thanks for stopping by with some "coral shaming" material for my reef. I'm posting pics of yours where my reef can see them so it knows what it should look like:lolspin:

Gorgeous as usual Tom!

Beautiful tank!! So many different Acroporas and all awesome coloured.
Could u shoot a pic or two of ur A. Pyroferus?

Greetings Marten :)

Looking very good. Thinking back, is there anything that you would do much differently? ...sorry for the intrusive question, but I am planning a upgrade and I like to learn as much as I can.

Tom, your older pics are no longer working:( Do you have any updated full tank shots? I need a fix...

Hello all, Thanks and happy New year. Thanks for the kind words. I don't have any updates because again I am thinning out the colonies.

As for changes:

1. I would not do the recirculating biopellets at least on a sps tank. I think they strip the water and if you don’t watch can fill your system with hydrogen sulfide which by the time you catch it is already an issue.
2. Not go with the Regal SRO300 skimmer it basically too big for the system.
3. be a little more selective and not over stock with Acros.

Other than I am happy with the redesign.

What are you running instead of the recirculating pellet reactor?

Do you still run pellets?

Thanks
