Unbelievable I wish my corals had these colors.

Awesome set up! Nice colors on your corals. I hope to have a tank this size and that full one day. Thanks for inspiration!

New Addition

New Addition

Picked up 10" Sohal from a local reefer moving out of state whom had it in a 260. Hopefully it likes the extra swimming room. It is funny to watch my 3" Sohal chasing it :38 as it gets use to its new home!

Edit: Yes the Purple is tore up. The small Sohal has grown and stalking the purple to gain dominance. Hopefully putting the big one in there cools the small one down or he is going to get pulled!

Nice addition to such a beautiful tank. How was the temperament of the Sohal in the 260. Hopefully by putting him in last he will be respectable to all the others. I have a 5" Sohal that is in a 125 with one other fish, a bi-color angel. There is no agression at all. Its a temporary place until I finish my 300 Gal build. I am going to keep him in there until I get all my other fish, then he will go in last.

Originally he was in a smaller tank, with my purple and sailfin tang, just at feeding times, he was a bully. I moved all the other fish to a temporary 90 Gallon.

I was curious on your dosing. Since you have so many corals, how much ALK, MAG and CAL are you dosing daily?

Not sure if you saw my post earlier in the thread, but your build thread at Michigan Reefers isn't pulling up.

The way your tank looks I truly believe that no one would've noticed it unless they dissected your tank.

It is great. He hasn't even flared its fins at the Naso which is the same size. It periodically gets chased by the 3" sohal. For some reason it hates the Clowns. They go into the frogspawn so no issues there. I truly got lucky with this addition.

In regards to dosing - I use a Calcium Reactor the SRO 5000 and lets just say there is a nice effluent stream. I do dose about 16 oz of MG every couple of months.

As for my build thread on MR I removed it. It seems that on that site when you have a big tank and a little success you inherit many haters. I never had issues until my corals grew to close and I started selling frags for $15 each. The ones that take advantage of others seemed to start the bashing. As a result I removed myself and anything that referenced me from that site. I am keeping a build thread on ********* R.2.R. though.

Thanks!
