TDB's 320 SPS Tank

TBD320: How are you?
I heard about your tank thru Steve at Great Lake Aquariums. Also from some other Michigan Reefers. I also purchased the 320 from Steve and took delivery in May.

Your tank looks wonderful, Great Job!!!

Wow!!! Beautiful tank!
Thanks
Beautiful. Great husbandry.
After 3 years with a reef I still enjoy it.
I'm sure it's been said but you have an amazing tank!
I appriciate
this tank is mind blowing!!! this is like something you would see in a commercial or something. There are no words!
I am fortunately enough to work for home and really get to enjoy the commercial.
Hummm... What day are tours again? Are they still free?
If your ever in Detroit your always welcome.
That is a beautiful tank. Are the Sohals still being peaceful to each other?
Believe it or not the small one was picking on the big one. I eventually got the small one and it is in the sump waiting for the new owner.

Hi Art - Thanks, I am very pleased with the tank. Your build looks great. I will be following along. I had steve drill me an extra 1.5 hole and run two 1.5 to a filter sock. It cuts down on noise and works very well. You are welcome to come over and check out the build.
Wow Phenomenal!

Did you have an equipment list?

I have one somewhere. Let me dig it up and Ill post it.

Oh man im sorry to hear that. Glade you were able to figure out what the problem was and fix it. Cant wait to one day see this monster.

Tank looks really good man. Curious how the tank does without the biopellets?

I think the Bio-Pellets may have been holding the tank back if that makes sense. Since the removal my nitrates have not been above .02 no matter how much I feed. It will go up and drop over night prob. because of the heavy skimming. I have been blaming some of the unorthodox colors on LEDS but since I removed biopellets and rox carbon the tank is amazing right now.

Very nice as always, did the Naso make it after the accident ?

Thanks for following up. Yes it made a full recovery. but since it was injured the other fish began to mess with it. Now my Sohal and vlamingi tang mass with it. I am going to give it to my buddy with a 320 with much more space and it will be king of the tank.

Has enough time gone by to decide if 2 skimmers will stay or go with one and back to pellets?

Its been about a month. I am getting a lot less skimmate in the SRO 5000 but that could also be because the Bio-Pellets are removed. I am thinking about a bubbleking 300 to replace both skimmers.

Very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Tank you for being one of my inspiration. I was in there playing with your camera the other day. What an awesome feature for an awesome tank.
